GURU mtp

GURU mtp was born of the desire for fashion as pretty as it is ethical.
We have the drive to change some of the fashion industry’s practices to match our beliefs. We campaign for the respect of all living beings. The respect of all animals seems primordial for us. We take action so that their place in society and on earth is better than that of consumer goods (alimentary, decorative, touristic).
Reducing their beauty to fashion accessories is insolent.
We work with european factories out of respect for the working women and men, and we don’t negotiate the prices excessively. We want our brand to be an experience of respect for each and everyone, and for their unique skills, through a fair remuneration.
We want to restrict the environmental impact of shoe production, by choosing european materials, bio-sourced and certified environmentally friendly.
Together, we actively scout for new materials to push forward industry practices. We are keen on innovations in biotechnology, always on the lookout for sustainable and vegan alternatives to faux-leather. We’re proud to offer models made out of Piñatex, with the aim of supporting original initiatives.
At the source of this pooling of qualities and individual know-how are two designers.
Fanny is a shoe designer. She has worked in trends agencies and prêt-à-porter shoe brands. Her convictions pushed her to believe that a more honest creation is possible – one that doesn’t gouge prices to increase margins, and without animal and human exploitation. She wants the product to be the center of attention. Gwendoline is graphic designer and our Jack of All Trades in communications. She has worked for numerous brands in fashion and design industries, as well as for major French institutions. Fervent activist for animal liberation, recycling, upcycling, know-how preservation, and more, she puts all her creative energy to the service of her convictions.
Our collection of shoes is made of feminine shoes for all city situations. Shoes that claims “vegan is the new sexy!”. Our first collection is small but composed of pop and rock essentials. The models design is simple, accessible, and made to boost the silhouette.
The shoes define a style: seductive, rock and glamorous, through materials on some cases shiny, on others velvety, with some spikes to spice it all up. The GURU customer does not want to trade her ethics for style.
She is inspired by a cosmopolitan, urban fashion. She is looking for quality and design, in shoes made for all occasions. From a morning coffee on a terrace, to work meetings and night outs: her shoes are as fast as she is, and full of pep.
