O m á g e Inspired by the French pronunciation of (the word) hommage, Omáge is an accessible luxury brand created as an ode to honor ourselves while honoring others. Our mission is to make uncompromisingly sustainable yet thoughtfully designed seasonless essentials. Handcrafted pieces that not only look good but fit well and feel incredibly opulent. By manufacturing locally, producing in limited quantities, and using only the finest quality natural and low impact fibres, we proudly give you designs that are made in a socially and environmentally responsible way.
The pandemic hit, and as we all know, the whole world changed and so did our day to day routines. We found ourselves at home all day, trying to work, homeschool and simply find little ways to feel good and stay positive. Many of us were forced to keep our day to day wardrobes tucked away in our closets and turned to lounge wear to seek comfort. A friend of Vanessalynne's called and expressed how she would grab her robe in the mornings and nights, but every robe she had didn’t check the boxes. Either it was too bulky, too thin, didn’t absorb water well, lost shape, didn’t stay secure, the list went on and on. Vanessalynne missed the inspiration she gained for her collections for VANESSALYNNE from dressing up on a daily basis, getting glammed for social events, traveling often, and creating beautiful garments in her atelier. Vanessalynne, like most, especially missed feeling glamorous and wanted to capture that essence even while at home.
From there, Omáge was birthed. With the current landscape in mind, Vanessalynne wanted to give you luxury season-less pieces that are accessible, versatile, wears well, washes well, drapes beautifully and feels fantastic. Offering garments that are not only soft on your skin but soft on the planet as well, having each piece sustainably made with Oeko-Tex certified fibers and all manufactured in California.
