Pozruh is a fashion label with a positive green approach. Pozruh means a True Soul in Kashmiri. The brand brings you a collection of effortlessly cool sustainable fashion, using natural organic fabrics such as Hemp, handloom cotton denim and up-cycle techniques. At Pozruh we are considering various impacts that the fashion industry is making in today’s world by creating handmade, handcrafted products that are socially conscious, environmentally conscious, and ethical.
Pozruh strongly believes in creating a system which help artisans and highlights Indian crafts and textile heritage. By supporting artisanal practices, we add more value to our product which also helps us support communities and reduce our carbon footprints.
Pozruh was founded by Aiman sabri on the belief that Fashion is fun, beautiful, radical, a rebel, with freedom & with free speech. DESIGNER PROFILE
Label Pozruh is the brainchild of Aiman Sabri, Founded in 2019. With a Master’s degree from London college of Fashion in Fashion & The Environment Studies 2011 and Under Graduation from NIFT Delhi in Knitwear Design 2007, Aiman has since spent a lot of time researching and studying the aspects of sustainable practices in the fashion industry. With the growing interest in Eco fashion and as a designer; Aiman wanted to use ‘The power of fashion to make Eco cool’ and encourage people to shop with a conscience. Thus, Pozruh was launched. Label Pozruh was also selected as a finalist at the Circular Design challenge award at LFW 2019 and it has rapidly grown ever since.
COLLECTION - NATURE CORD
The collection is inspired by the elements of nature. Focusing on minimal designs with clever cuts & interesting silhouettes to fit all body shapes and sizes.
The Nature cord collection is made in Pure fine hemp fabric and handloom cotton khadi. Hemp fabric is an extremely sustainable textile that is naturally pest resistance, durable & long lasting. It is UV resistant and anti-bacterial, grown using very little water and has a look of classic linen which is great in warm and humid climate. The collection comprises of a highly sustainable denim range. The handloom khadi denim fabric is made without the use of electricity and dyed in natural indigo with very low carbon foot prints, making it one of the most eco-friendly denims available in the market.
A nature-inspired colour palette, with styles made to be used time and time again for every occasion, throughout every season. The hemp collection comes in beautiful botanical print and pacifying earthy tones dyed in low impact dyes combined with Handwoven khadi fabrics with subtle embroidery & print details.
COLLECTION - WHISPERING BLOOMS
Inspired by the blur of the real and the unreal dreams. Pozruh welcomes the crisp air of Autumn with its somber and diverting new collection ‘Whispering Blooms’.
The collection features painterly and handcrafted styles depicting blurry, fuzzy floral prints inspired by the Phantasmagoria concept, bringing statement dresses to everyday decadence.
