The Bogolan Bed Throw can be used on your bed or sofa. Made from a blend of French linen and African cotton, it creates a warm and comforting piece of stylish luxury in your home.

Inspired by the Bogolan Mud Cloth, we created this design in collaboration with Michael Chandler of Chandler House. The Bogolan Mud Cloth is one of Africa’s most unique textiles; it is a handwoven cotton fabric, traditionally dyed with fermented mud, and hand painted with West African designs and symbols.

It is pre-shrunk therefore giving the fabric a wonderful textured handle.

Buying Handmade

For small-scale, home decor artisans, their brands are their livelihoods and it reflects in the care that they take to hone their craft and produce something of real value. When given a choice between something that has been churned out by a machine in a factory and something that was beautifully crafted in someone’s garage, more consumers are opting for the latter. Every choice we make with regards to how we exercise our buying power, makes a difference.

Detoxify Your Life

The link between physical, mental and emotional wellbeing is becoming clearer. With the move to cleaner living and mindfulness, we’ve seen a pivot towards a detox movement that affects all categories of life. Detoxing takes many forms from eating healthier, and meditating, to uncluttering your space and choosing house decor items that stimulate good moods.
